  • You don't need to bother with 3rd party software like picasa. Use the advanced options in windows search (win key + f) to look for image files of a certain size or larger.

  • Use the advanced options in windows search (winkey + f) to look for files that are larger than a certain minimum size. The images you want are probably mega-pixel photos (a few MB each), and this method will weed out all the useless web and OS graphics which are very small (hundreds of KB each).
